One of the greatest joys in my life is my family. My husband Daryl and I have 6 of the most awesome kids on the planet. Each one of them has an amazing God story behind their entrance into the world or into our family. (Ask me about it someday!) We have served as foster parents to 13 children, two of which we are proud to have adopted. I am a home schooling mom and really enjoy that part of who I am. I was born and raised just outside of DC, have lived in PA, NJ, and VA, but I’m so glad to be here in NC. I have served in a variety of ministries within the church – worship, youth, children’s, adult, administrative. But my greatest passion is helping people grow in their faith in Jesus Christ. If I could do anything with my life, it would be to help people become everything they were created to be in Christ.
It’s hard to limit my interests. I love to play softball or anything athletic and I love to find a corner to curl up and read or work on puzzles. I love the beach and I love the mountains. My playlists are wide and diverse, with everything from classical and jazz to LeCrae and dubstep. My favorite foods are anything that I don’t have to cook or chocolate. My biggest weakness is Pepsi.
Something you may not know about me:
I detest glitter.
